Why You May Need to Go to Jail
Beyond the daily affirmations I’ve recited and great books I’ve read. Listening to sermons at the gym have had the most significant contribution to my growth over the past two years.
I know — not the cliche advice you anticipated. But in the words of Oscar award-winning director Spike Lee, it’s my story and, I’m sticking to it. Because similar to how podcasts are a great way to consume information while at work or in transit passively. Listening to sermons at the gym allows me to train my body and spirit simultaneous.
Today’s sermon, centered around the Apostle Paul, was a timely message and provided the needed inspiration for Day 2’s article.
Planted or Buried?

After years of traveling from country to country teaching and establishing churches, Paul was heading back to Jerusalem. Despite the countless people who warned him that trouble would meet him upon his return.
And to no one’s surprise, shortly after returning, he was arrested and put into prison where he would spend most of his time for the remainder of his life.
