P.S. Not Everything Is A Sign From God

Our life’s marathon is a race saturated with tests that challenge our faith.

Personally, opposition came even before entirely exiting the doors of Corporate America. Less than a week after I put in my resignation, and a week before my last day, I lost $14,000 which amounted to (75%) of my wholesale fee.

However, through all the heartbreak and resistance of the journey, somehow I persisted and found a way to fall in love with the process.

But the enjoyment of the journey could not stop me from vigilantly watching for signs of the promised land. Searching for signals that proved betting on myself wasn’t an act of insanity rather self-belief — praying that despite feeling lonely that I was not alone.

In hindsight, I’ve come to realize the danger of searching for confirmation in moments of desperation. Our eyes can be deceiving during times when the focus should be the task at hand, rather than on what you hope to acquire from all your hard labor.
